Ondo Finance's tokenized stocks now settle through DTCC's institutional clearing infrastructure, pushing ONDO above its 200-day EMA for the first time since March.

ONDO rose 13% to $0.39 in the 24 hours to 04:00 UTC on July 21, breaking above its 200-day exponential moving average for the first time since March.
"Ondo's integration with DTCC's tokenization service connects tokenized equities to regulated clearing infrastructure carrying CUSIP identifiers, which is a real adoption unlock, not just marketing," Jason Wu, an independent DeFi analyst, said.
Trading volume surged to $289.6 million from about $54 million the prior day, CoinGecko data shows. Ondo Finance's tokenized stocks — including CRCLon representing Circle shares and SPYon tracking the SPDR S&P 500 ETF — are now linked to DTC Tokenized Entitlements created through the DTCC Tokenization Service. The framework places Ondo alongside BlackRock, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange as participants in DTCC's tokenization initiative. Instead of relying on synthetic exposure, the products connect directly to securities held within the Depository Trust Company's clearing infrastructure, addressing custody and settlement requirements that many institutional participants consider necessary before adopting tokenized securities.
A decisive close above $0.40 could expose the May swing highs near $0.43 to $0.45, while losing the $0.37 to $0.38 breakout zone would signal the DTCC headlines were already priced in and demand evaporates.
Robinhood Chain adds distribution channel
Robinhood's recently launched Robinhood Chain, built on Arbitrum, gives users across more than 120 jurisdictions access to 24-hour tokenized stock trading that can interact with decentralized exchanges and lending protocols. Ondo's products, including its USDY yield-bearing token and tokenized equities, serve as the infrastructure layer within that ecosystem, expanding distribution to Robinhood's global retail base. If ONDO's integration drives more retail tokenized-stock volume, ARB on Arbitrum could benefit as the underlying network.
Technical structure strengthens
The daily chart shows ONDO reclaiming its 20, 50 and 100-day EMAs clustered between $0.339 and $0.345 before clearing the 200-day EMA near $0.376 on rising volume. The token also trades above its anchored VWAP, suggesting buyers are willing to accumulate at higher prices. The 14-period RSI on the 4-hour chart sits at 71, placing ONDO in overbought territory — a level that often accompanies strong breakouts but can precede consolidation as traders lock in profits. On-Balance Volume has resumed its upward trend after recovering from last week's pullback, indicating buying activity is broadening rather than narrowing.
