BITC was created on 2023-03-21 by Bitwise. The fund's investment portfolio concentrates primarily on long btc, short usd currency. BITC is an actively managed fund that seeks capital appreciation by providing front-month CME Bitcoin futures contracts exposure during upward trends and 100% US Treasurys exposure during downward trends. Importantly, the fund does not directly invest in bitcoin or other digital assets.
