The company is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario and currently employs 205 full-time employees. The company went IPO on 2004-08-30. Its operations include a geothermal plant (82 MW), four run-of-river hydroelectric plants (39 MW), three solar (photovoltaic) projects in operation (35 MW) and an onshore wind park (26 MW). The company also operates a wind power plant called Punta Lima Wind Farm, with a capacity of 26.0 MW, located in the Municipality of Naguabo, Puerto Rico. San Jacinto is located in northwestern Nicaragua and is the generator of renewable energy in Nicaragua, contributing significantly to the overall energy requirements of the country. Through its subsidiary, Generacion Andina SAC, it owns 8 de Agosto, a Run of River hydroelectric operation located in the town of Aucantagua, in the District of Monzon in the Department of Huanuco. Its subsidiary, Emerald Solar Energy SRL, operates the Canoa I Solar Park located in the Barahona Province, Dominican Republic.
