Spot XRP ETFs recorded 11 consecutive days of net inflows totaling $170 million, while Ripple opened September with a new institutional partnership and ETF milestone progress.

U.S. spot XRP ETFs logged 11 straight sessions of net inflows, adding $170 million since Aug. 18, as Ripple unveiled a new institutional partnership.
The $14.38 million daily inflow on Sept. 1 brought cumulative net inflows since the products launched in November to $1.68 billion, according to SoSoValue data reported by CoinDesk. Goldman Sachs reported the largest institutional XRP ETF position in Q2 13F filings at about $87.4 million.
Analysts caution the figures may include market-making, basis trading and client order inventory rather than directional bets on XRP price appreciation. The XRP ETF segment remains smaller than comparable Bitcoin and Ethereum products even as sustained flows point to growing comfort with regulated crypto vehicles.
Ripple's new institutional partnership expands enterprise use of the XRP ecosystem, adding a real-world utility layer that could support further ETF demand. Whether the inflow streak translates into durable long-term positioning — or reflects short-term arbitrage and hedging — will determine the pace of XRP's institutional adoption through the rest of 2026.
The partnership announcement marks the latest step in Ripple's push to broaden XRP's utility beyond cross-border payments. The company has been building out its institutional product suite since the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission cleared XRP from its long-running securities dispute, opening the door for regulated investment vehicles.
Spot XRP ETFs launched in November alongside a wave of crypto ETF approvals that followed the SEC's shift on digital asset classification. The products give traditional investors regulated exposure to XRP without direct custody, mirroring the structure that drove billions into Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs since their 2024 debuts.
The sustained inflow pattern tracks a broader period of institutional engagement with digital asset ETFs. Bitcoin ETFs have seen similar flows, though XRP's segment remains a fraction of the size of its larger peers — cumulative inflows of $1.68 billion compare with tens of billions flowing into Bitcoin products since launch.
For XRP holders, the ETF flow data and Ripple's partnership pipeline together form the bull case: regulated access channels plus enterprise utility. The counterweight is the composition of those flows — if a meaningful share reflects market-making inventory rather than investor conviction, the price impact of continued inflows could be muted.
The next milestone to watch is whether Ripple's September partnership announcement translates into measurable on-chain activity and whether ETF inflows extend beyond the current streak. Both data points will shape XRP's trajectory as institutional products mature through the remainder of 2026.
