The firm is primarily involved in the provision of pressure control equipment and equipment supporting the high-pressure stimulation of oil and gas wells and other oilfield equipment on a rental basis to exploration and production companies in Canada. The company conducts its business activities through two reporting segments. The rental services segment consists of its rental equipment assets in western Canada. The investments and corporate segment includes all other assets and activities, namely, High Arctic’s equity investment in Team Snubbing Services Inc. (Team Snubbing), industrial property, head office functional support, and other monetary investments and borrowings. The firm offers a lineup of oil-field rental equipment for drilling, completions, workover and abandonment of oil and gas operations.
