ITO EN, LTD. engages in the production and marketing of tea leaves and beverages. The company is headquartered in Shibuya-Ku, Tokyo-To and currently employs 7,916 full-time employees. The firm operates in three business segments. The Leaf and Drink related segment purchases and manufactures tea leaf products, and sells them throughout Japan, mainly green tea, barley tea, and oolong tea. This segment also plans and develops beverage products, outsources production to manufacturers outside the group, and then purchases the finished products and sells them nationwide. The Food and Drink related segment operates and franchises restaurants of specialty coffee in Japan. The Others segment is involved in the manufacture and sell of supplements in United States.
