VTEB was created on 2015-08-21 by Vanguard. The fund's investment portfolio concentrates primarily on investment grade fixed income. The ETF currently has 43173.69m in AUM and 9914 holdings. The fund tracks a market-value-weighted index of investment grade debt issued by state and local governments and agencies. Interest is exempt from US income tax and from AMT.
