Ondo Finance, Clearstream, and 360X have launched a partnership to embed tokenized securities into regulated financial systems, with 10 of Ondo's tokenized U.S. equities and ETFs now actively trading on the 360X platform for European institutional investors.
The initiative places tokenized assets "within the core infrastructure European institutions already trust," Matthieu de Vergnes, Managing Director and Global Head of Institutional at Ondo Finance, said. The collaboration aims to create a unified, institution-ready framework for tokenized assets by covering the entire lifecycle from execution and storage to settlement.
The first operational phase lists ten prominent tokenized securities—including AAPLon, MSFTon, NVDAon, and SPYon—on 360X, the ESMA-regulated digital-asset venue backed by Deutsche Börse Group. The tokens are issued on the Ethereum, Solana, and BNB Chain, providing on-chain exposure to U.S. assets within familiar regulated channels, following Ondo's recent approval to serve investors across 30 EU and EEA countries.
This partnership creates a critical bridge between traditional finance and the on-chain economy, potentially opening regulated digital asset access to more than 500 million people. The next stage will integrate Ondo’s assets directly into Clearstream’s post-trade infrastructure, which manages more than €20 trillion in assets, enabling institutions to use tokenized securities for custody, settlement, and collateral.
A Three-Pillar Approach
The collaboration uses the distinct strengths of each partner to build a complete ecosystem. Ondo Finance specializes in tokenizing real-world assets, 360X provides the regulated marketplace for trading, and Clearstream, a key provider within Deutsche Börse Group, will supply the post-trade services essential for institutional adoption.
"The listing significantly broadens the range of compliant digital instruments available to our clients," Carlo Kölzer, CEO of 360X, said. Jens Hachmeister, Head of Issuer Services & New Digital Markets at Clearstream, added that the alliance is "building a more efficient, future-ready market by seamlessly connecting traditional and digital worlds." Future plans include Ondo tokenizing EU-listed instruments and Clearstream tokenizing assets from its own vaults for distribution through Ondo’s global network.
