Key Takeaways:

Pump.fun (PUMP) on Solana rose 23% to $0.00203 on Monday, reaching a two-month high after prominent crypto trader Ansem disclosed a $100,000 long position and laid out a bullish case for the Solana-based token launchpad.
"Making 30-40M a month during bear market for onchain, believe that SOL will dominate retail activity again this cycle and Pump.fun will be most likely beneficiary," Ansem, who has more than 500,000 followers on X, said in a post detailing his thesis. He entered the position on a reclaim of former support near $0.001675 and identified a drop to $0.0014 as the invalidation point.
The rally extended gains from Sunday, when PUMP climbed from about $0.0016 to $0.0019 as a viral meme coin, Jimothy the Raccoon (JIMOTHY), drove attention toward the platform. JIMOTHY rose 186% in 24 hours to a market cap of nearly $11 million, according to CoinGecko data. PUMP ranked as the top gainer among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market cap, reaching an intraday high of $0.00207 — its strongest level since May 12.
The move comes as a token unlock of roughly $124 million, or about 21% of circulating supply, approaches for Pump.fun. Such events tend to amplify volatility as traders position around potential sell pressure, though buyback and burn mechanisms tied to platform revenue have provided a counter-narrative. Ansem also drew comparisons to Jito (JTO) and Jupiter (JUP) airdrops in late 2023, which helped drive trading volumes across the Solana ecosystem, suggesting a similar dynamic could reignite on-chain activity.
