Sovereign Metals Ltd. is an exploration company, which engages in the explorations of graphite, copper and gold resources. The company is headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. The company went IPO on 2007-01-22. Kasiya is located in the Lilongwe District of the Southeastern African country of Malawi. Kasiya’s Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) is 1.8Bt at 1.0% rutile resulting in over18 Mt tons of contained natural rutile. The MRE has broad zones of very high-grade rutile, which occur contiguously across a very large area of over 200 square kilometers. Kasiya’s graphite by-product Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) is 1.8 Bt at 1.4% graphite, containing over 24.4 Mt tones of contained natural graphite. The Kasiya Rutile-Graphite deposit is in an area northwest of Malawi’s capital of Lilongwe called the Lilongwe Plain.
